35 with M Sport and or 19 inch wheels

Hi People,
I'm hopefully going to be joining your ranks as a proud owner of a nearly new 35i.
I've driven an M Sport with 19 inch wheels and non dynamic suspension and was slightly disappointed with the ride on typical UK B roads. B roads are my usual choice when going for a 'blast' but have the issue of the occasssional pot holes and other nasties spoiling things.I can live with it but got the nagging feeling that I'd be better off with either 18 inch wheels or a non M Sport car.
The car I'm interested has the ideal spec and the dealer has suggested that he may be able to swap the 19 for 18 instead.
Thoughts , opinions and suggestions gratefully received.

Hi there and welcome.
I've got a 35i and have adaptive suspension.
I also have 19" wheels with summer tyres and 18" with winter
Tyres so I've got experience with both wheel sizes if the road
Surface is poor you'll find the ride poor with 19s or 18s.
The difference is hardly noticeable beetween the two.
So if you like the look of bigger wheels don't let ride quality
Influence you.

Hi Paul,
I wonder if the adaptive suspension is cleverly masking the difference between the different wheels???
Need to hear from someone without adaptive suspension who has summer and winter tyres :)
