Hi folks looking for some help ! Need to replace the rear tyres on my e92. Running 225/35/19 michelin pilot super sports on the front & 255/30/19 on the rear. Cant get 255/30/19 anywhare ! On back order, Looking at fitting 265/30/19 but worried that it bring up lights or give me problems with rubbing. Seems to be plenty of room as running standard msport suspension. Need to get them this week as on wear bands ! :headbang: :headbang: : :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

assuming you have the space they will be okay

225 35 19 -radius 320.o circ 2010.9 mm

255 30 19 -radius 317.8 circ 1996.8 mm
265 30 19 -radius 320.8 circ 2015.6 mm

265 is closer to the fronts in diameter and circumference than the 255

Yes been waiting for them coming in for the last month. Spoke to Michelin today they are on back order none available for months. That's why my hand is forced need them now ! So don't know what to do

My E90-based D3BT runs Michelin PS2 265x35x19's on the rear as standard with no bodywork mods to the arches. The E92 ALPINA also runs these tyres with onmodded arches. We're also on 335 hubs, so you should have no issues whatsoever. Don't see any reason you will get a light up on the dash...it doesn't affect traction control, ABS or trigger RFT warnings if the tyres on both side are the same. HTH

Having you got built in Sat Nav? you may have issues as it uses your rear wheel rotation to calculate your location. although the change is quite small, so you'll probably be ok to be honest.

Yes Paddy i have, think it will be fine ! hope so spent a few £ on these tyres. will let you know how i get on.

Well folks tyres arrived yesterday fitted & spot on no clearance issues yet ! Not had anyone in the back seat yet, find out at the weekend with grannies & mother in laws in the back. Think it will be fine looks like there is a big enough gap. The differance in grip is unbelievable, had to gentle when pulling away with my conti contact 5's on. Michelins feel so much better ! Thanks folks for all your help & keeping my mind at rest after spending a small fortune on the wrong size of tyres. Thank god all's well !

A 335d touring (not sure if thats what you've got?) M-Sport, my dream 'family' car! I bet it's rapid right, what's the mpg like? Hope it's fine with the 'extra' weight!

Mines is a coupe woo7dy, it's remapped to 350bhp & is rapid & returns 40mpg around town, 46/48 on the motorway. Great car had it 2 1/2 years now & can't see me changing it for a while yet. Apart from going through rear tyres that is ! Lol
