Morning all.
I know there has been masses of discussion on 326 tyre sizes before, most of which I've read but I'm still left unsure of what to do. I admit I only have a very basic understanding of wheel/tyre sizes so I'm guessing that's the biggest reason for my confusion.
What I have understood is that the run flats have to go as was the case with my E85 so they're going but there seems to be a recommendation to increase the tyre profiles for a more comfortable ride and to protect the wheels. That's where my confusion lies!
It seems most agree that the rears can happily go from 255/30/19 to 255/35/19 and I'm happy with that but what happens with the fronts?
Apparently, from what I've read, 225/40/19 is one option but might cause rubbing, maybe only on full lock and maybe only with certain tyre brands but it's a possibility and definitely something I want to avoid.
Another option I've seen mentioned is 215/40/19 but will this make the front tyres look stretched?
The third option would be to leave them at 225/35/19 and that is my preferred option but will that be OK with the increase on the rears?
Sorry for bringing this whole topic up again but I'm getting close to needing new tyres so need to get my head around it.
Thanks in advance for your help.
