As said, you will struggle to find uncracked used 326m wheels, especially rears. For the same reason you need some. If you do manage to find some, they will not be cheap!

Be very careful, as there are people who will weld a wheel, grind the weld flat and paint it, then pass it off as an undamaged one. It happens.

I wouldn't buy wheels with any cracks, as they WILL crack again. Not really such a thing as a 'minor crack'. A crack is a crack which reduces the integrity of the wheel.

Have you considered a square set up? I still have two 326M 8" (front) alloys in good condition with run flats and no damage sitting in my garage, they are advertised somewhere on the Z4 forum, I'll look to resurrect the advert in the wheels section. (rears were cracked and pretty useless albeit someone did buy them for a pittance from me) but the 2 x 326M 8" may be worth considering with a spacer.

thanks for all the help, i ended up welding it again. hopefully it holds it this time. i have multiple welds on rears which make me uncomfortable to repair and as you guys said it is either 500 quid to change the wheel with brand new from BMW or buy used one which possibly is in same situation as mine. thats a shame these wheels crack so easily, they look so good on the car! i am changing tyres soon putting michelllin PS4S which is softer than my existing tyres hope it helps to reduce stress on the wheel!

Well as you can see once they crack they just keep cracking…invidious position..

It won't!
Once you compromise the structural integrity of a circle you can never get it back. It's just the way it is.

I had this conversation with the wheel refurb company I use. A 225 (MV4) rear wheel from an E92 with a small weld has re-cracked through the weld. The refurbisher will not re weld it. His comment was that the heat cycles make the metal more brittle and likely to break.

The 437M from the F series ///M cars fit and look very similar (and are forged). Wider but do fit, apparently.
Or www.veemann.com do some nice wheels which have good reviews on here and several styles which are similar to the 326M.

It is a real shame they are made of cheese, as the 326M wheels are the best looking OEM for the E89 IMO.

You can get them.

From BMW 15 off now:

It’s likely a new set will cost more than this.
You could try the 313M style which might have been an option on the e89 in some markets.

There are also lots of options for aftermarket/non-BMW wheels worth considering. Unless you are an absolute BMW disciple, you may want to look into those. Tend to be much cheaper for a set and not necessarily of diminished quality or look with the latter being subjective anyway.

Available new from bmw direct or vertu who sometimes have 15 or 20% off.
I wonder if these are cast, surprisingly heavy despite looking very light.
Nearly 14 kg per corner according to bmwstylewheels!
