326 Alloy alternatives

Those 325s look like a good compromise - I do like 5 spoke wheels!

I got lucky and managed to buy a good used set of 295s for my previous Coupe, but sadly they've been NLA for years. :(

Option 3
I decided I would play it safe and go down to 18 inch 325M five spoke alloys. Picked up a full set for Β£600. Not quite as sexy looking but safer bet and still OEM.

I have a set of those in my shed for sale, shame I'm the other side of the world. I also like the design but wanted 19s, so I went with 437M which are forged, so strong and light weight.
I try to avoid crappy roads though (he says with a pic offroad :) )

Any clearance issues as the are 9j and 10j for M3 and M4?

No problem at all, offsets are the same as Z4, et29 front and et40 rear. Tyres 235/35 and 265/30, design is close enough to original so I don't think wife noticed  But she did comment how the car drove better after I took of the RFTs, which even she said were shite.

Being a predatory vulture I feel it’s relevant that I have a set of 437Ms in gloss black with Michelin MP4S in 235/35 19 and 275/30 19 available .. :tumbleweed:

Do they fit with no clearance issues? If so can you PM your number and I will give you a call?

Hi yes 437Ms fit with no rubbing under any conditions on stock (MSport) ride heights..

That’s with 235/35 and 275/30 which given the rim size is the minimum width tyres you should fit..

I’ve bought a set of 325M from a seller in Germany on Monday but he is yet to dispatch them. Not good comms so have requested he cancel my order.

If he does I will be in touch. How much are we talking for your wheels?

Isn’t BMW Hubauer-Shop by any chance. They messed me about with an order, refunded but, when they did because of exchange rates and commission I got Β£40 odd less refunded to my card than debited. They weren’t interested in the slightest!!

No it was this guy. Very similar. I paid on Monday and heard nothing. I emailed every day to ask if they will be dispatched soon. Nothing again until I requested cancellation. Not how I do business πŸ™„

If this helps, a pic on level ground. Car is not lowered.
You will not be disappointed

better than the originalsπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘.

+1 for the 437M alloys. The only other alloy that looks really great on the E89 imo. I couldn't afford to spring Β£3k for a set of genuine ones plus tyres, so I got some from cmwheels a few years ago. They set me back about Β£500 for the set. 19" staggered 8.5j/9.5j. Not forged as far as I would imagine but fine for everyday driving. Only problem is cmwheels no longer sells them... not sure what's happened as the selection on that site has absolutely died recently and they're not stocking nearly as much variety as they used to.

Here's a pic of the wheels on the car. They're diamond cut and painted gun metal grey:

A big thank you to Peter for meeting half way.

Absolutely perfect πŸ‘
