320d turbo blown. Best place for the ancillaries?

I have been told that the breather hose on the 320d e92 2007 with the mishibitshi turbo is part of the rocker cover and the whole thing needs to be replaced.

My mechanic has said
"You need the rocker/ valve cover assembly which has the engine breather built into it and the corrugated breather pipe that attaches to the end"

Does it need replacing and where can I get the best price if so?

How badly has it blown? Has the engine ingested turbo parts?

No, nothing like that, as far as I'm aware.
The turbo made a noise like a cat stuck under the bonnet though.
