313 reps

Tyres all ordered £579 which was by far the cheapest anywhere. Going to phone up CMWheels tomorrow and order the alloys and see if I can get a cheeky deal.

From what I can see he does the best reps on the 313's so I really hope they're up to the hype! the pics aren't great, so if anyone has any pics that be marvellous! :D :D :D :D :D

Arghhh, right quick fire question time.

I've bought the 225/265 tyres.

Just phoned the chap and he's out of the 8.5 et40 / 9.5 et40 313's. But he has the

Front - 19x8 ET37

Rear - 19x9 ET33
In stock ready to ship. This should be ok right? What's the difference (in English lol) as I was going by fellow forum members recommendation.

Pop your tyre size and offset into here : http://www.willtheyfit.com/

And it gives you a visual idea of what the difference looks like. Best site I have found for helping me understand the difference in offsets and tyres size/profile changes

Thanks fellas, super thanks to Dav and Ben. All bought and hopefully should have them on next week. £1089 in total which I think is alright.

Thanks again, and I'll post up when they're on, but not before quick polish and wax.

Right, they're on! Big big thanks to those that helped! Love them! Only problem is..... I now need bigger brakes!!

   :driving:

Tell me about it! Better start sweet talking the wife! Lol I do have a big mahoooooooosive grin from ear to ear! The wife approves too as it feels a lot safer on the road now too!

Look great... Match the sterling grey perfectly

Just get some 3.0 si breaks... 325mm fills 19's nicely and can be upgraded for £300-350 including disks and pads.

I've never thought that i had to get larger breaks on my car (well except the weedy rears!)

Chaps, after I said all about letting my wife get over this lot, she says the funniest thing earlier.......

She going, and I quote...."your brakes look a bit weedy now, better upgrade them when you get the money!" Lol

So looks like its on the cards.

I will prob set up a seperate thread for it, but is it a case of upgrading the discs? Or do I have to do discs and calipers? Lol she even said what colour calipers are you going to buy!

How do they sit with the arches? do you have a pic looking down the side of the car?

Im Goin full brake overall front and rear discs calippers the lot but i have too if im to prep for a faster engine.
I think some have upgraded with 330mm discs and calippers from another model BMW, but only seen it on the fronts leaving the rears in 280mm stock but your need 330 or 356mm to fill the 313,s up front and rear.

Hmm, I can see this being another minefield, so I'll need new calipers and discs. Can you recommend anything that I can work towards without breaking the bank, but still looking cool and and performing well?

What has this forum done to me, I was over the moon wheni got the car and since then I keep seeing nice things to do......inc a stubby lol!

Mines not lowered, and think they fill the arches enough. Plus living on an unfinished estate, the roads are crap and unfinished so I have to be carefull.

Yes bigger brakes as my problem, however the 3L has a mere 20 mm more front and 15 mm rear, for now ive got tempory drilled and grooved discs 280mm front and 275mm sqeezed on the rear.
The biggest discs you can sqeeze on 313s due the design is 330mm which is bigger then ///M breaks so get them and shut all the gimps up on here mate.
Look great the wheels mate need to lower next tho 30-35mm but try for coilovers rather then cheaper springs as the ride will be very harsh, my 2nd set of 313s turn up today lol :)

Think you will find ///M front discs are 345mm :poke:

Wow, that escalated quickly! If I spend 2k, I think my Bollocks would be cut off. I'll message ESP if I can find him! I've now ordered some new caps, and m stickers (which I'll put the right way round! :poke: )

Have you got yours on now?

Look forward to seeing them on buddy, I've started a fresh thread on the brakes.

Let me know when you've got the shoes on the car!
