30i exhaust tips

are these tips removable or welded on?
fitted mm tips to the 85, which just slid over the old tips and tightened.
does machine monkey do the same for the 89.

Ive just changed the exhaust tips on my 23i, if its the same (I can't see why they would be different) its an easy job to remove them. I just sprayed them from behind with WD40 and then with a small bolster tapped them gently along the pipe (took about 20 secs). I bought some cheap replacements from Amazon, but Im going to take the originals and have them re-plated or polished (dependant on cost)

On my 3.5i they were welded on so had to cut them .
Hopefully you’re ones just slip off as above, but just in case.... least you know it may end that way . Pretty frustrating when you think a few minutes Work is ahead of you and then.... oh Bol..ks !!! Turn out the extension lead , etc !!!
