Hi guys,
You can tell by the title i'm a newbie.
I've had a few BMW's and now looking to buy a E89 Z4.
Simple question, is the non turbo'd 3.0 engine exactly the same internally as the turboe'd one?
If so this gives me twice as many options to find the colour combo i want, i can just add a pair of turbo's yes?
This can increase my chances of finding my perfect colour combo hopefully.

PS: got my only one in the world Red ruby II with contrasting black and red leather interior, brushed aluminium, 330ci individual to get gone to help pay for the Z if anyone is interested, 140k 2004.

No, not by a long chalk. I don’t think they share any parts at all!

Doing a turbo conversion on a 30i is a huge amount of work. Get a 35i and repaint / wrap it in your dream colour. Works out a lot cheaper / better.
 
Ok, thanks guys. I'm in no hurry with winter coming so i should be able to find what i'm looking for.
