Finally reached 3000posts a wee while ago,and had meant to post about my time on here then, but didn't.....so better late than never, lol.

It's been a fun 9 years since this forum started, even if it took me 2 years as a guest before getting round to actually joining, lol, but in that time I have been to alot of excellent meets, and even organised a few myself, having met alot of nice people over the years.
Also on my 2nd z4 over the past 9-10years,having owned 2 back to back.
Addictive cars these,haha :driving: :P

Some ex regular members no longer on here ,having moved onto other cars/makes and we sadly lost fellow Scottish member cjeds a few years back. Rip cj :driving:
The Scottish members/meet regulars has probably seen the biggest changes,as I am just about the last man standing from the early Scottish meets that Ally, etc used to organise.

Over the past couple of years the Scottish meets have been less and less, but all going well,we will have more meets in the year ahead,as we have a great group of "newbies" who have become the new regulars

Hope we can get another of Johns great Wales meets in 2017 :driving: as well as a few decent sized Scottish runs including either Skye or Borders runs/Northern ,nc500 ,etc :driving:

There have been some excellent/modified Zed's on here over the years too, from all corners of the world....inc. Johns stunning self done Pearl Sunburst Orange z4 with a host of mods, and Tomscotts lovely Grey M Coupe on csl's,as well as JDM,s Black Coupe "Brutus" with its unique two tone interior
As well as those I have only seen once,or yet to see(beedubs Supercharged z,and six speeds lovely White M Coupe with black gloss roof panel).

Too many nice cars to mention, haha.

Look forward to hopefully seeing some of you guys and gals before the year is out,ajd at future meets, before the arrival of my first child in January..a yet untitled baby boy,lol ......a z4 fan in the waiting :D

Here's to many more years on here, and with my z,as it's a keeper, with no plans to sell(wife's car being sold for a new family friendly set of wheels),and here's to meeting more members and plenty more runs/drives,and finally getting to Macs Shepshed meet if possible.
And who knows, maybe even get round to getting more Mods done to mine to increase the power a tad more

Look forward to seeing some of you soon :driving:

I know, was wanting to make the Turnpike today, but far too much work etc getting in the way of z meets just now :headbang:

Would have been good to catch-up with everyone.....been a while since Ed has ventured out on a meet.
That would have been a blast from the past for you mate.

Well done Craig......here's to the next 3000.

Have I met you before??

Oh yeah, you are the guy who comes from "down south",with that nice chap Dave Ellis's?..... :poke:

How are you,Jim?

Always feel it would be good to meet up with all the National attendees more often than just once a year, too long a gap for catching up with you all.
Hope all is good with you mate

Was great to see ed again, hope you can make the next turnpike! Did you get the x4 yet?

Yeah, gutted a not being able to make it.
No,the wife can't make her mind up :headbang:
She was unsure about the flappy paddles gearbox/semi auto setup, but as we both want something sporty-ish still,we are having limited choice as the higher performance models in alot of cars come with semi auto/paddles/dct type boxes,so still looking.
Running out of time,so she needs to get her backside in gear(pun intended, haha),or else it will be my choice.....the x4 30/35d msport :D
Maybe order in January, for delivery in March for the new regs, instead of getting a 66reg before Christmas.

Most importantly,the z stays :D :driving:

How is your x5 going?

Agreed....too long a gap. Might have to venture out onto one of Johns Welsh runs if he gets one organised.
Think you're gonna be down on your trips out next year with your impending arrival. :)

Lol! Bet u end up in the x4 yet! Yeah x5 still going well, can't decide what to do though as the new tax rules in April worry me but don't really want to get a new one before then!
