300 year old garage - I'll take it!

Last Sunday, Steph and I were out in the Zed to the coast (I feel compelled to see the sea from time to time) and decided to call in and visit Seaton Delaval Hall, recently opened.

I was knocked out by their 300 year old multi-garage - what a set up! To think this was the garage of it's day (1732) - what a place.

If we're referred to as 'Petrol Heads' what would their equivalent be?

The answer to your question is sitting right there in the corner.

Straw Heads. :P

Now now. . . my wife tells me that horses don't eat straw they eat hay, grass, oats, horse nuts (whatever they are  )

so pick any of them and add 'head'

Err 'Grass head' is a bit awkward :? 'Hay head' just doesn't work :( 'Oat head' sounds Yorkshire

Nut head - well make your own mind up!

Straw is what they poop on apparently, so go figure. . . . :o
