In all seriousness, I put in an offer for them yesterday and have been in correspondence with the seller. He has advised me that the driver's seat is broken and is stuck upright. He's going to let me know today if he can fix it.
 
Those Caramel are obviously the pick of the bunch. I'd have been tempted myself if i hadn't already made the change.
 
Is the price high due to having door cards too?

I’ve still got my electric, heated champagne ones in the loft, but the low values I was being given meant i decided to keep them instead of selling them.

Have seen them sell on ebay without door cards between £500-£800 just depends on colour. Champagne are probably less common than black/red
 
Yep, was all over them, especially the red or caramel, but both need a refurb to factor in the price, so instead I’ve bought some heated electric seats and getting them recovered in Bentley burgundy instead... :thumbsup:
 
Scuffs, scratches and a set with a broken back mechanism all at nearly £1k a set, am I missing something :?
 
I honestly cant believe how much these things now go for. Especially when you consider how cheap zeds are getting, particularly the pre facelift ones which is where most of the demand is as nearly all posts were sport spec with these in as standard.

What have you been quoted for the retrim, I've been quoted £1,500 from http://www.edgeautomotive.co.uk/

for full retrim of my Si Sport seats and door cards in the Amarone.
 
I got quoted for retrimmed seats and door card centres in tan or Amarone nappy leather for £2200 + Vat from LG trimming. Needless to say I went on a nice holiday instead!
 
I think we are now in the situation were our cars are actually becoming more valuable for the parts within them rather than the insurance valuations we have. There are obviously a lot of parts that are no longer available from BMW and those parts that are available certainly aren't cheap. I think you can possibly get M seats from BMW but you are probably looking over £2000. Its a similar situation if you want to do the Xenon upgrade, the lights are in excess of £1000

Are they really? Jeez I hope mine don't go wrong or get cracked. I've a pre facelift with xenons. Will have to keep an eye out for a spare set as that would be a bitter pill to swallow
