3-flash blinkers

In the z4 manual, I noticed that it was possible to reprogram the turn signals to flash 3 times with every depression of the indicator stalk. Mine only flashes once.

The bmw dealer told me that it was not possible to turn this feature "ON" for the z4m. Is this true?

My 06 Z4M does it.. The dealership kept on about it as if it was a big selling point. To be honest it's not the most exciting thing about the car.

:rofl: It wont be long until they say the tyres that come 'free' are a big selling point ;) Even my first car had triple flash... a 2003 1.2 Seat Ibiza!

Facelift Z4's have this option available. Pre-facelifts do not. boo :(
 
Dealer can do it, they did mine as well as removing the selective locking and taxi stuff.

Can't get the key remote to open the boot without first unlocking though on later zeds. Disabled at the factory.
 
then i wonder why my dealer insisted it can't be done. I am going to have a word with the service department on this.

You can pick 3 or 5 flashes iirc.

When I had mine changed (In Telford) they had to reset mine - and the one thing I lost that I missed was being able to unlock the boot without unlocking first.. so that's possible too.
