In reality I'd probably pass on both and just buy a nice house in the Dutch countryside and buy a nice collection of racing bikes with the change.

Some of the gadgets on the DB5 look like they're powered by an elastic band and an electric toothbrush motor. They could have made them a bit slicker for 3.5m I reckon. Some nice strong small-format linear actuators available these days.

Not a fan of either of them. :o I'll take a real DB5 and a 0ne 77. 8) You can keep all the modern Bugatti nonsense.

I've never had to worry about what I'd buy with £3.5 million as I've never been likely to have that to spend!

But it certainly wouldn't be either of those.

Something sensible like a GT2 RS and a completely restored e34 M5 track tool would do me - along with a nice house near the Nurburgring and a Jahreskarte :P

You're missing the point. They aren't bought to drive....they're bought because the owner thinks they will be worth 4 million next year.....

definitely the chiron for me. as a general rule, i'm not interested in cars made before i was (1987)

though as you say, if i really did have £3.5m, i wouldn't spend it on a single car...

Just bothered to watch a bit of the DB5 video. You just no some rich oligarch is going to fit real machine guns in one of those. Now that You Tube video I may even watch all the way through.
