3.0si sport roadster on Ebay - should I buy it?

Hey guys,

Been watching this car for a while which looks like reasonable money for the year. Seems a bit low on options perhaps. Anyway, is the car known on here?

3.0si seemed to have most problems sorted but anything specific I should look out for on the test drive?

Oh wow! Thanks, have noticed the fogged headlight and have asked the seller a few other questions. Was the hood motor issue sorted on the Si?

No, they still die in the same way, unless it's been relocated already?

I wouldn't completely rule it out just yet. PM the members concerned and see what they have to say about its history/faults etc

Listing now ended so unless it was you that bought you missed a peach of a Si with no issues & great heritage , roof motor had been relocated to boot , roof itself was new a few years back under Bmw warranty & with service record tiptop :wink: furthermore it drove fantastic & came in a ultra rare colour of Stratus grey with unmarked 313style alloys
Headlight is a strange one as i never experienced it when i owned through Autumn , not totally unknown to get condensation depending on garaged or not & certain times of year when washing them
You really need to view prospective cars & drive them as some may look great in pics & have juicy extras but drive like seaside donkeys
