Hi Swiftly,

Would really, really love this car, mine has most probably just been written of (see 'look what my son did to my Z4').

Unfortunately I have no idea what the insurance will likely pay out, but I suspect will be a little light for this. Additionally in light of the other thread I pointed out, you most likely wouldn't want to entertain me, for fear of some real heartache :-(

Irrespective GLWTS, however if I somehow **magically** manage to come up with some extra money, would love to talk with you about it again (assuming not yet sold). Though fear I may be torturing myself here :-)

I read your thread and was both shocked and saddened, I hope it has a positive outcome for both you and your family. Hopefully your insurance will settle quickly so that you can quickly return to zed ownership, and feel free to contact me if manage to get extra funds.

Thanks Swiftly, will do (though so far, haven't thought of solution, so maybe dreaming :headbang: )

Good luck with the sale  Remember it from one of the North East runs a couple years ago. Beautiful car.

Car now sold to a nice young chap, I mentioned the forum to him, so hopefully he will join and introduce himself.

Now the hunt for a replacement is on :D

I will be putting up a thread tomorrow to sell off all the other bits I have left including Aero skirts, 224's with good tyres etc :)

Thanks Paul, hopefully it won't take too long to secure the right one, although it looks like I am going to have to travel as none of them are located anywhere near Scotland. On a positive note though, it should be an extremely nice drive back home :driving: :D

Well done Swiftly that is a superb car and as you know I had that very same model and colour but I did sell it and do miss it and if I wasn't in the middle of having a kitchen extension I would have definitely bought yours :)

I did get an E89 35i which I loved and sold but when I can chance in the future I will have another 3.0 Z4 :)

Congrats on the sale Swiftly someones got a great Zed there, so what are you looking to replacing it with?

Hi Marlon

I'm really after a 2 - 3 year old fully loaded low mileage 35is in any colour except black, but they are a bit like hens teeth at the moment so will have to no doubt compromise on a few thing. I've also been looking at preregistered M240i coupes, as long as it comes with loads of toys :D mind you I think I would miss the top down action though
