I’ve been on the fence over my Z4, great example but I’m using it as a daily and I think it deserves to be a bit more of a garage queen life, but I already have one of those! Also I’m tempted to try an E89 for my daily comfort.
As I’ve been offered a very nice E89, decided to take the plunge and sell mine, if I had the space I would keep it and buy a run about instead……I need a barn!
Car has been a forum car for the 2 previous owners, so maybe someone will recognise it.
Think I’ve done 10-15K miles in 18 months, to be fair it needed it. It has now done only 57K miles.

When I bought it, it had stood around a lot and felt a bit unwilling and not as sweet as my previous 90K mile 30i. A service, fresh oil, injector cleaner, V-Power and some re running in has it singing sweet again and it is responsive and revs clean and free again. Doesn’t use oil. I can get 32-34mpg without much effort. The straight six and the Scorpion exhaust are just a joy when you stretches it’s legs.

Offering it here for a week or so, then I’ll put it up on Autotrader etc. The buyer will have first chance of matching Hardtop and winter wheels should they be interested.

Pdq indeed Mr T, anyone on the hunt right now will struggle topping this one with the miles, condition, spec & ££ask.

Managed to give a quick clean up this evening to remove most of the daily grime. First viewing tomorrow, another in reserve pending out come. Private plate is now off. Found a brand new pack of autoglym roof cleaner so will include that.
Have the original grills and gear knob (which is shown in the picture).
4 previous owners, I’ve had it since July 17, had an inspection 2 and 1 service done in that time :o

The trip from East Sussex was well worth it this evening. The car was exactly as described and Steve is probably the most knowledgeable and genuine person I've ever bought a car from (its been years since i last bought a car privately and Steve is a pleasure to do business with).

I cant wait to get the car home and to start to be more active on this forum.

Congratulations on your new purchase. It looks like you’ve bought a stunning Z4

Beautiful car  . Excatly what I was looking for. Red on black with piano black inserts. :D :D
Enjoy your new car.
Keeping my eye out for something similar and as well looked after like this.

Evening all. I'll post in the newbie board, but also wanted to update this post.
I travelled up to Rugby on Saturday morning by train and Steve very kindly met me at the station in the freshly cleaned Z4, which looked great.
After doing all the formalities back at Steve's house, it was time to hit the M1 and M25, which were both a series of traffic jams. Thankfully the roof and air con kept me cool. Once off the m25 i could then enjoy the roof down for the remaining 1 hour of the journey along A roads.
I then took the Z4 to Brands Hatch yesterday, which my 4 year old really enjoyed. Again the car was great fun to drive.
The car is now garaged and settling in to the family.
