3.0si exhaust tip removal - HOW?

Hi guys,

had machine monkey's lovely shiny exhaust tips for ages now and thought I'd finally get around to putting them on, however, how the hell do you remove the existing trims? I tried whacking them and they dislodge slightly, I've searched high and low for a grub screw but can't see anything obvious.

Am I missing something ?

I'm really not weak by any stretch of the imagination! But I cannot get them budge, I honestly think I'm about to pull the exhaust from the manifold :p

I'll try again after a few beers, seem to always win more arm wrestles with booze onboard :evil:
