3.0si backbox

I'm after an aftermarket backbox for my 3.0si to give it a slightly louder exhaust note. Does anyone have anything?

Have one I took off my 2.5si when I bought it. Sounded very nice tootling around but the six hour motorway drive bringing the car home was too much for me.
I believe the two engines share a common exhaust, but will check and come back to you.

If it doesn't work out with you and atreyu, I might be interested. :D

The 2.5si and the 3.0si share the same exhaust. The aftermarket box taken from my 2.5si when I bought it has nice chrome tailpipes and I had been thinking of advertising at £150, but will let it go via the forum at £100 collected.
Please note, it was a pain to remove so I'd strongly recommend it be fitted with the car in the air - not a job for the driveway.

Any idea who manufactured it?

You don't need to get them in the air to fit. Take the nearside wheel off get an axle stand under the axle and you will have plenty of room to work.

Measure and cut out the old box and you can re-fit with a couple of tube couplers. Grease the hangers with some penetrating oil and they will easily slide in and out. It took me 45 minutes to swap over the box on mine and that included trimming the tubes to suit.
