Just a couple of questions that may help buyers;

Is the private plate included?
How long have you owned the car?
Service history prior to your ownership?

It’s almost identical to the one at Prenton Motors on Merseyside that was on for £6495 at the weekend. I was a tad too late on it, went quickly.


That one had done 126k miles, 3 owners and full history. It did also have pro-nav and of course some dealer warranty. The MOT history wasn’t as clean, but no real concerns.

I’m not a big fan of the E89, but a manual in grey with the red leather, nice.
 
Just by writing a 'fanciful' advert does not make a car worth more money. This is by far the most expensive 2010 30i on the market, for the mileage, and many of the OP's selling 'highlights' are not strictly true.

The 'comprehensive service history' looks to have a four year gap between 2018 and 2022. Then no mention of a service since 2023.

'Bi-xenon headlamps' are not an option on any E89, they ALL came with them as standard.

There is nothing 'rare' about a manual 30i.

The M-sport package was common to all M-sport cars. It was a spec.

The 'low mileage' is not really low is it? 116,000 miles could never be considered low, but for a 16 year old car it's still 7,250 miles a year, every year.

Sorry but trying to market the car as something special with an inflated price, when it isn't, gets my attention.

I presume it is a very nice car, but some of the hype is a bit much TBH.

Whilst I agree with most of what you’ve said, I will disagree on the rarity. A manual M Sport 30i is probably one of the rarest and do not come up for sale nearly as often as a 23i or N20 engined model.

I have a manual M Sport Highline Edition 30i and have kept a close eye on the market. Months went by where there was only one M Sport 30i for sale.

I actually saw that one too when it went up, great price for someone, but worth noting it was a standard SE model taking a quick PX clearance price, rather than a factory M Sport.

This car is a factory M Sport with lower mileage, complete three year warranty'd ceramic coating, and critical E89 preventive maintenance already done. Most notably the roof flex wiring loom replacement, new rocker cover gasket assembly, VANOS solenoids, and the SMARTY Android unit/camera setup. Everything is fully sorted for the next owner!

To be fair, dealers don’t list non-routine maintenance, so you’ve no idea what had been done to that car.

I think you’ve produced a good & detailed advert, but members on here are all over routine & preventative maintenance, so it’s a given. It doesn’t make it worth more than book, just less if it’s not been kept on top of.

To be helpful, I think you’re very unlikely to get that money on here. Cars priced keenly do generally sell quickly. It’s how attractive you want make it, but for me the car is £7k max.
