3.0L pre facelift manual - sub 100k

I think the sport button was standard on 3.0 litre E85s so that is one less thing to look for! (They also had electric seat adjustment with driver's memory).
And as you say heated seats seem to have been a common option on Roadsters, plus with the 3 litre being the top of the range they tend to have more of the other options too.

It's just a thought but would a facelift 2.5Si fit the bill?

BMW claimed 231PS for the pre-facelift 3.0i and 218PS for the facelift 2.5Si and I doubt you'd notice a difference of just 13PS!
Being a bit newer it might be easier to find facelifts with less than 100K miles and if you get a facelift Sport model they had the very desirable M-Sport seats as standard which are very rare on pre-facelifts. A good used pair of M-Sport seats tend to sell for around £750. Just avoid the facelift 2.5i as it only had 177PS!
