I think stenmark's pillars look great, and I do agree with mrlozzer that a greater contrast is more effective.
 
A DISA is the Differentiated Air Intake System. On my DISA the plastic bearing on the flap was causing a resonance at low rev's, it was only noticeable once I removed both pieces of foam from the sound generator. Haha, Mowflow, is right, a CDV is a Clutch Delay Valve, there is lots of threads dedicated to CDV's. It causes the car to do a kangaroo type jump during gear changes, particularly between first and second. Its a device installed to prevent a shock to the transmission as the clutch engagement is throttled, so the time taken to engage the clutch has a minimum duration. Removing it makes clutch control far smoother but increases the risk of shocking the transmission if the driver does know how to use a clutch, although BMW is the only manufacturer (that I know of) that decided its drivers can't drive by installing a CDV, so one wonders how necessary is it? There is no need to modify the CDV as some suggest, just remove it for a better driving experience + your clutch should last longer. Delacourt Motors removed mine. :)
