3.0i owners in Oxford

Hi all, on the hunt for a 3.0i, but can't decide what gearbox to go for. I have driven the smg, that's a no, and been out in a manual but didn't get the chance to drive it. Are there any owners that are from the Witney/Oxford area willing to take me out for a proper blast so I can see what the performance is like? Interested in both auto and manual.

I'm in Oxford but with a z4m, welcome for a blast. It might change your mind though!

You could arrange a meet, there are a few Z's locally, I'm sure people would be happy to take you out. Would be good to meet some local Z owners too.
 
not in oxford but just thought i would give a thumbs up to the auto box, certainly you have to try 1

Also, sam z4m that would be great, a few friends have e46 m3's, so would nice to see the difference, even though an m is way out of budget.
 
Same i am off work from today. So could find some time to take you out for a quick drive tomorrow afternoon.

My car is far from standard. But the engine is completely stock.
 
Hi, I'm based in Abingdon and have owned my Z4 3.0i since July this year. I road tested all 6 cylinder models in manual and auto modes before making my decision. The 3L sport manual was a must and I was very fortunate to find an excellent well maintained car.
It would be great if a few of us could meet up in the new year.
 
Sounds good. There is a drive planned for next year, it's The English/Welsh meet for 2016 will be on Sunday 24th April. 10am at BS10.
But we could have a Oxford area meet too.
 
Seems there are loads of Oxford folk about. We should do a meet, but if we've got to have a passenger to check out the cars, so be it!
