3.0i exhaust question

I’ve got a 2004 auto 3.0i that came with a back box delete. It was way too loud so I’ve taken it to fastlane styling in Romford to fit their biggest back box to quieten it down. But it’s still just as loud as the straight pipes. I’ve decided I want to fit a standard back box (or maybe just change the entire exhaust back to standard)on it but can anyone advise if the 2.5 backbox is the same as the 3.0 as there seems to be loads of 2.5s around.

Also, is there any difference between auto and manual exhaust systems?

I’ll be advertising the straight pipes I took off soon if anyone wants them.
