You will end up dreaming of a M ...
I have driven both and the M is so much more fun.
Go and take a testdrive and rev it up al the way to 8000rpm ... it is insane ... especially from 4500 rpm ... this feeling you do NOT get from the 3.0si
Just my 2cent

If the feeling is anything like that of my old E46 M3 convertible... the whole experience... noise/brutal acceleration/pinning you in your seat... it's soooooooo addictive.... just wish I hadn't had to sell my M3, but living in London and owning an M3 vert isn't a good combo!! :headbang:

I've thought about test-driving a Z4m many times.

To be truthful, I'm scared............scared I'll be discontented with my 3.0L after the "///M experience".

I love the 3.0L and am so glad I went for the bigger engine. Already, after owning it for around 9 months, it doesn't seem as quick as it once did and I think I'd be seriously thinking of upgrading if I'd gone for a 2.2 or 2.5L.

No way I can afford a Z4M for the foreseeable future, so I won't drive one yet and I'll just have to be content with upgrading to an ///M steering wheel for now.

Hi, new member here.

I've had my Z4C (the 3.0si engine, M Sport pack) for just over two years now and I fancy a change. Tomorrow I'm test driving a rather eclectic mix of cars: an RS4 Avant, a Focus RS and a RenaultSport Clio 200 Cup. Everyone's saying go for the RS4 but they're bloody expensive still. It's within my budget, but bangs for bucks I'm hoping the little Clio does it for me.

I didn't even try the Z4MC because of the extra cost to buy and use as my every day (and only) car, but perhaps it's the best option of all??

Tomorrow's going to be fun :)
