NO LONGER NEEDED 3.0 Si Manual Roadster

Hi all, I’m on the hunt for a 3.0 Si manual roadster with the heated sports seats.
Not too bothered about other options but would prefer something with a bit of colour, albeit I’m not sure I’m ready for a phoenix yellow one!
I’ve seen mention of a few on other threads that may come up for sale, so hopefully something comes out of the woodwork.

Good luck with the search. They are currently thin on the ground on the few that are forsale have been for quite some time now! Great cars good choice 👍

Thanks.
Yeah not too many around at the moment, missed a couple at good money and like you said the others have been listed a while. Going to see about one of them listed on AT, but would need to come down a bit.

Thanks, seen that one. Too much money for me. I appreciate I’m looking to buy, so my view will be different, but strikes me as too much money anyway. Perhaps just content to sit on the car until the ideal buyer comes along?
When you see the black one that sold on here in Dec with a decent spec, ~90k for £6k and that took a little while, it shows how overpriced some are out there!

Yes it’s far too much money. You could get a leggy MR for this money. Nothing particularly special about it spec wise either.

So what is your budget, there’s the one you just commented on which I agree is too much then there was my mint one that I presented to you that is £2500 cheaper which was still too much. If you want one with no spend and is in great condition then pay what it’s worth or go for a nice 3.0se that will be cheaper.

Probably after a money pit for 6k mate.

About £7-7.5k would be good.
Yours is appealing, but not being taxed is a pain as I’d want to see it driving and I’d suspect you don’t want to do so for someone to come and look at it! Location was an issue as well, as not anyway I could fly to you (and driving/train are an all day thing) - did speak to someone about a car in Scotland, but sold before I could get there, so I am willing to travel!
The lack of tax issue is true of the grey/red one at £7750 on Autotrader. The car is appealing, but not taxed and MOTd is an annoyance.

@LukeBird where abouts exactly down south are you? Have you tried any examples or been out in any at all?

If you came up then i would know you are serious and I would tax it but your budget wouldn’t be enough to buy it

Short for motherfu**ers Lynchy, not nice. I suggest trying to get £12k for a 3.0Si roadster at the mo is delusional, but hey ho, good luck to him.
Wow, not a nice bloke then but I knew that some years ago.
