Hi all there is a 3.0si coupe for sale in Ivybridge Devon at a dealers. It has 111000 on it with part history, looks quire reasonably priced at £5795?
Wondered if anyone had seen it? Not for me but coupes seem popular?

I suspect its interior trim is partly the reason for its value :wink: if that works for you then you may be on to a good car at cheap money but you would really need to get down & see it , listen to it & of course drive it

Headlights may or may not be fogged up.
Wheels look ok.
Is that a gap at the bonnet or just the angle of the picture?

It's passed the recent couple of MOT's so would need to go through any paperwork of evidence that....

Water Pump has been changed
ABS Pump refurb?
Brake Discs and Pads changed.

Paint the bloody calipers too!

Walk away; 30 years of "If it looks right, it probably is, if it looks wrong, it's probably going to be expensive" tells me this is to be avoided.

Skelters... that is the one. I wasn't trying to say it was good or bad, just looked cheaper than a lot I see advertised. There may be a good raeson for that!

I might go against the trend here and say it could be a good buy. 2 owners is well below average for these sorts of cars, and they have clearly got some use out of it (given the mileage).

If I was in the market again, I’d get this one to an indy dealer for a check (c. £100) and then see what needs doing and budget accordingly.

As has been said above, there are a few common things that need doing (ABS, water pump, springs etc) but that shouldn’t put you off.

I'd add to the above that it is missing a few pieces of kit others on the forum would want e.g. heated seats and cruise control.

That light indicator that is on is also a bit worrying - could be just an indicator, or it could be a problem with the xenons which can be expensive.
