Just on the hunt for a backbox for the 3.0si. Mines got an aftermarket box on but I need a standard box as I was at Ducklakeview's today and I prefer the sound of his modified boxes than the one currently on mine. Cheers Jay

My car is a 2003 3.0i, is it the same box? I have had mine cut off to have a modified box fitted.
That's what I'm after, having the box modified but the previous owner has had an aftermarket box fitted and the drone from low speed and motorway driving is too loud for me

I have started detailing my car. I need a paint thickness gauge apparently and they are £80. If you have one though would do a straight swap

Nope, they are different. Could probably be made to fit, but the hanger positions are quite different, also the box dimensions changed on the facelift which might affect the tailpipe position in the bumper cutout.
