3.0 Front Brake calipers and carriers SOLD! (300mm disc)

Let me know no hassle MM. You still having issues with your caliper sticking?
No one seems interested in upgrading their brakes on the 2.0s 2.2's or some 2.5's. :(

Hi toe side. Really interested in the callipers/carriers. Can you hold for me pending outcome of my question:

For a 2.2 upgrade, is it just the carriers I need to change or is it the callipers too?

Am I right in thinking front is 300mm disc and rear is 294mm?

You need carriers, calipers, discs & pads as it's a larger diameter on the front.

As for the rears, unless you're seriously tracking it not worth the bother - I went from 300mm to 325mm & didn't upgrade the rears & have no issues. Unless it's cold 5 degrees & below & then only under extreme breaking have I had the fronts lock/ABS without the rear kicking in, but was still quite controllable.

Look under 'How to'... cjeeper wrote a fabulous brake upgrade write up with all the info need

I have front calipers and carrier's from a 3.0i if you want them

So you need calipers carriers which I have and you will need to get pads and discs 300mm

Apologies to the OP for thread jacking but I'm after a price guide.

In my shed I've got some refurbished, rust removed via electrolysis, front callipers & carriers off a 330d that I was going to use to upgrade mine to 325mm discs but I don't think I'll get chance so they could be up for grabs, not sure how much they're worth so I thought I'd ask on this thread, any body got ideas on price?

I paid £125 from my Indy because I couldn't source any that were in a decent condition (carriers & callipers only) almost 2 years ago.

Now a popular upgrade, so becoming more difficult to source
