positive vibes on the in's & out's of buying/owning the sweet 6 265bhp 3.0SI .
no real issues & a good read for anyone looking to buy one .
article signs off with "as far as BMW roadsters go this Z4 is a peach "
happy days
shame it was roadster specific :x

its better they are mentioned, new owners need to be aware

yeah :) of the 6 sections in the feature the "what goes wrong?" section is by far the biggest
squeaks & rattles from interior trim
fragile bonnet release catches
detached headlining problems
roof motor failure due to water ingress from blocked drains
worn front steering components

i could go on but i need to go make the dinner :D

"buy a coupe" would simplify things

Only 2 of those 5 would be solved by buying a coupe, one is easily fixed and the other is a small price to pay for the joy of roof down motoring. I'd rather have a roof that I have to move by hand than a roof that doesn't move at all

Mr wilks - I see your fairly new to the Z4 world, but you better check this list against forum 'problem' posts you will find that model specific problems are actually near neck and neck :o
