So I've been in the market for some new headlights as mine are letting in condensation and are cloudy. On a tight budget of £300.

Saw these on ebay today and wondered how easy of a fix they would be?

Cheers!

I’m more of a OEM advocate. The hella headlights are just better IMO.

Wiring the angels can be a bit of a faff AFAIK.

I’ve had aftermarket on my e46 from the same brand. They only lasted about 2 years.... although I was doing around 20k miles pa.

The OEM ones can be refurbished even from really bad. [ref]Chris_D[/ref] did a good post. I’ll try find it.

Edit, found it!

I fitted 2 Excite headlights to a 2004 E85 2.5

They worked perfectly although there is no adjuster for Left to right dip if you go abroad so will have to fit Deflectors ( BMW have an adjuster)

The wiring connections are not the best so I soldered the pushed in wires onto the bulb holders and made sure that every connection was perfect.
The Halos were just wired to the additional sidelight which I changed to an LED anyway.

You do have to take the bumper off and you will have to align the beams which I did against a steel gate on which I had oplaced some tape markers - you can google alignment its pretty straight forward.
