296 Warranty Check

So the E89 Z4 with 16,000 miles is in to BMW tomorrow for the warrenty check on one of the wheels.

A Crack in the allow is causing the tyre to deflate.
wondered if anyone had success claiming under warranty and may help with a little ADVICE.
BMW informed me they will check all the wheels.

All tyres inflated to recommended pressures and no major signs of Bangs.

Guess we will have to wait and see.

Wow ...now thats what I call service..BMW just called to say they would fit two brand new wheels on the back FOC , £40.00 labour but not going to argue over that.

Really Really Pleased.

Looks like I will renew the warranty again this year.

Got the car back on Friday.

Bit of a mix up from the original offer of totally free. :roll:

Had to make a very very small contribution on the second alloy but have to say now have two brand new rears and for under £200 can not grumble when I have read some horror stories.

Consider myself very lucky, wheels all taken off on Saturday and cleaned and waxed ...off for a drive today

Alloy wheels are not covered on extended warranty by the way....they are doing it under goodwill, as I have had 2 crack since my main warranty expired. Good result you saved some cash though

Must of been a goodwill offer from BMW as this was not a Sytner offer.

They had to get the OK from BMW.

Think in the end the full replace on one was 100% free from BMW and the reduction on the second was from Sytner Leicester.

Anyway ...result and very happy.
