 Mostly Holland. Sometimes UK.
...a pair of headphones. :!:

Ok, I know most of you won't get it. Some will be re-reading the above sentence. Some will have dropped their biscuit in their tea
But some of you will know about my headphone fetish by now so when these babies came up on marktplaats.nl for less than half fhe price they sell for when new I jumped at the chance!

The caveat? Located in Antwerp. A 280km round trip from Utrecht. Worth a punt, I thought to myself. And am I glad I took a punt cos theyre frikkin awesome! Not a mark on them and they even have 6 months warranty left for a bit of peace of mind. Yay.

Also come with a bespoke Peli case.

But more importantly, decided to take the zed and as ever it performed flawlessly.
Doesnt see much action these days while he's sort of in limbo between being imported and converted to a dutch regged car. It's an arduous process.

I averaged 39.7mpg at a steady 75mph. Unreal! And after adjusting the seatback to optimum position it feels like I just drove down the road and back.

That’s only about 85 miles each way :poke:
You'd travel that far for a pair of headphones too? Ok, cool. So I'm not bonkers as 2 friends have already accused me of being :)

I quite enjoy driving, so don’t need much of an excuse to do so.

If it’s worth it to me, then why not?

Even did a 200 mile diversion home one week, as the exhaust I wanted was in the north-east, I was working in the south-east, and was living in the north-west.

Quite enjoyed that diversion.

I also went from Liverpool to Bristol & back (360 mile round trip, in 7 hours) to pick up a OE strut brace.

280km, pah, I once made a 520 mile round trip for some speakers
Wasn't in the Z, not that they would have fitted, and didn't cross any borders though.
Nowt wrong with a bit of an impromptu road trip to pick up something 2nd hand that most other people couldn't care less about.

I drove a 3,000 mile round trip to Spain to pick up my rescued stray (dog) - Rey - didn't have my Zed at the time but it was a worthwhile trip. :D
