Flowers are on the table. Going to our local German bakery for a goodie and see our German friends. Then a hoon in the Zed in the country. At the end of next week we will holiday in Harrogate for a week. Mrs. Bigdog loves seeing old castles, Castle ruins. Things of that nature. And so do I.

Had a good day. Drove to Ludwigswinkle Germany and had lunch at a very nice Gästehaus overlooking a lake. The Putensteak mit AnanasCurrysoße mit Reis und salat was very good. Drove to Johanniskreuz near our village. This little spot on the road is where all the bikes and sports cars gather to run the twisty roads. Which radiate out in all directions from there. Even saw a Caterham go by. Two Zeds (pre face lift) pulled in along with a porker carrera S, AM Vantage V8. From there we went on a forest hike.

Of course the nice day was almost ruined by one of the German drivers who think so highly of themselves. Came around a right hand corner and coming right at us in OUR lane was a motorcycle. We were within a few feet of hitting him head on. Boy did he stand that bike up in a hurry and went to the outside of the curve. The longer I'm in Germany. The less respect I have for the drivers over here. I just don't get it. It's very difficult and expensive to obtain a license here. In three hours of driving today. We counted at least ten or fifteen cars/bikes in our lane in the middle of corners.

Dizz. As your a European. Could you explain why the otherwise wonderful folks here seem to have an issue with lane discipline?
