Thinking of getting my spare set of 108's refurbished soon and may as well get some new Tyre's too rather than transferring the 70% worn ones from my current set (which can be used over winter).

My biggest gripe with the Z4 (bothers me nearly every day) is the ride quality, as such I am wondering on the possibility of stepping up the profile on front and back (from 40 to 45 on the front and from 35 to 40 on the rears). Has anyone ran with these dimensions at all? I see a few people have but using thinner tyres, I would intend to go for the same width but just increase the wall height slightly. I can't imagine the slight increase having a severe impact in speedo accuracy.

Yep i did this. Also went for 245 Rears as Eagle F1's have a huge overlap, they still look wider and provide more rim protection than 255 Falken FK452's!

Can you feel the car moving around more on the taller sidewalls if you corner enthusiastically?

No detriment all, bearing in mind the car has negative camber, slight sidewall movement is actually beneficial to help engage the tyre to the asphalt unlike zero-camber cars.

M cars have 45/40 profile :)
