24 HEURES DU MANS 2012 - 16 & 17 June 2012

Fully booked now! Dover ferry around 1pm on Thursday, camping at Club Valan about a mile from the circuit. Can't wait. I wasn't going to buy any stickers, but it's so tempting as it grows closer :)
 
i assume there are quite a few more of you going than just the 2 general admission tickets you showed! we have 3 plots for the wagon and 8 people :D
 
I'll be stickering up :) "M" style stripe over the top of the Coupe has been ordered...that and a few other goodies :)

Can't wait...except for the application stage. YAWN. Will post pics once it's done...

I might put the foam back in the sound generator before the trek down mind you.

Hi, first post here even though I have had my zed for a year now, been going to Le Mans since '97. Was planning this year to go in my zed but co driver has just trumped me with an R8, so convinced me to go in that, just not much space for camping gear. have always stayed in Houx Annex, but this year we are trying Bleu Nord. anybody stayed there before.
Will still go for a wander through Houx to see friends, I will look out for other Zeds. :D
 
Bleu Nord is on the circuit outer perimeter and a bit of a hike if you are used to staying in Houx Annexe. Security is pretty good, but be careful and aware of the pikeys, as we got robbed last time we were on there. Just be sensible and lock away anything valuable in the car if you can. If you are a fan of Dutch techno at
3.00am you'll love it! :D Have a wander through Houx and say hello! :thumbsup:
 
Thanks for the reminder chaps.....a weekend for me to avoid obviously, since I have the joy of driving a poxy hi-top Transit 700 miles down to the Pyrenees to complete our house move some time during June.

I might take a tin-opener and pretend I've got the beemer..... 8)
 
Well I'm slumming it in Beausejour again this year, my zed will be parked up near our tents so say hello if you're passing!

After your hike from the 'circuit suburbs' to the track you'll need a drink with us in Houx - a warm welcome and a cold beer awaits!! :D
 
Collecting all the stickers for the mobile home tomorrow! Going to get it all liveried up over the weekend, only 2 weeks to go now!! Cannot wait!!!!!
 
Collecting my stickers tomorrow also....I'd not considered the fact I might need to drive the zed round here with stickers on before I go...self conscious a bit?!?
 
Spent the weekend getting the truck fueled up and stickered up! really looking forward to it now!!!

i am getting some new dates made up that i will stick below the 2010 date so we can build up a record of the years we went :)

I have a general admission ticket to sell, unfortunately I'm not going any more. If anybody wants an extra GA ticket for a mate then give me a shout. It was bought with a group of mates who are still going, so there's no camping pitches or anything to sell with it.

Right our party (996 GT3 RS, Ariel Atom and my Zed) are getting the 8:20 eurotunnel crossing on Thursday 14th June and camping at Team Langoustines campsite inside the tetre rouge corner of the track and next to the sports stadium :)

Anybody else travelling on the thursday morning?

there's a post doing the road on pistonheads - don't expose the tickets to sunlight for long periods as the barcodes or something get messed up (sounds fake) but it's truuuuuuue!
