23I SDRIVE for <16k - is this too cheap?

Seems a little low, but I guess that might be the mileage... it's a Dealer sale so looks genuine enough...

Priced about right, I guess... check this one out.. lot less miles and not much more:

Still, from a buyers perspective nice to see some of these becoming affordable... just waiting to see an affordable M-sport with Sat-nav now.... preferably without the extended swimming pool pack 8)

I bought mine new a few months ago for 27k , the same car was sitting in the showroom second hand at 27k as well, 1 year old 3000 miles on it
Prices are always more expensive in Northern Ireland.
The car's are full spec 23i M sport
I found a private one for sale at this time for around 22k
So to get one of these cars at 16k is pretty good , but for me I would not touch it unless it was an M sport.

Agree. I'm going to sell my current car, get a decent ///M and then wait until m sport e89 prices drop down further

Seeing that they offered me £12,5k for my 2010 3.0 with the same mileage I would say that it was priced reasonably, given the current state of the used sports car market.

I was about to offer you mine, its got pro nav etc.

Then I saw you didn't want the swimming pool pack....

My car can be seen on TV in the coming weeks, they are holding the Olympic swimming IN it!

I hope that this teaches BMW GB a harsh lesson in the next few years about protecting brand values as they will be awash with 2.0 litre models being returned at the end of their personal contract because the GFV is in excess of the market value.

It won't worry BMW, they will just try and find everything wrong with the cars returned on a PCP and try to reclaim the loss that way.......that stone chip sir that will be a £50 charge, those non rft's will be £1,000 etcetera

Hardly awash, the % of 2.0 models sold in the first quarter under the dealer contribution scheme is still relatively small compared to other non Z4 models. End of the day its a double edged sword, 2 seater roadsters are rarer but probably harder to sell as its a niche market. I would expect larger engined Z4s values to freefall as the years pass, less economical, tax band etc etc in comparison to the 2.0 that still offer decent performance for less running costs.

I would be more worried about reliability and build quality issues affecting residuals more than anything.

Tim.
