Hi All,
Looking to fit an induction it to my 2009 23i - can't find any off the shelf, which is odd as the 2.5 N52 engine must be a common platform in BM's?
Before I go custom, has anyone found one that fits?
Assuming not... as per my previous cars I've had success at constructing cold air intakes using custom pipes and filters, but the main stumbling block is that the z4 has the maf fitted into the factory air box which is a right pain. Do any of the other Z4 engines have the same setup? if so do the aftermarket kits come with a pipe post airbox to relocate the maf that I could use?
Before anyone asks 'why induction kit??' or 'BMW airbox is the most efficient design' - I've done it on all my previous cars, and the gain in a pleasant throttle growl (and sucess of doing it), outweighs the few BHP lost in heat soak, so I would appreciate any help as googling is prooving particularly fruitless!
