23I inconsistent performance, is this a problem?

Hi guys, I have had my Z4 23I auto for about a month now and have started to notice that some days it seems to be not as responsive as others?

I thought it may have been my imagination to start with, but it's definitely not as good some days as others, and the revs and auto gear change sometimes feel a bit off.

On good days the performance is spot on, on bad days it seems more sluggish and the revs don't feel quite right?

No idea what this could be, so would greatly appreciate your comments!

It's not something I've heard before. Are there any other symptoms other than feel?

Feel could be quite subjective to you and your roads. Weather etc. Fuel quality could play a part but the 23i isn't that highly tuned.

You could always go to a dealer or Indy and ask them to check for any ECU codes.

When it feels sluggish the revs seems to stay a bit higher than normal when you take your foot off the throttle. A bit like an old car with an automatic choke stuck on?

Also seems more sluggish until the engine is really warmed up.

Had a 23i myself but didn't have any of your problems,does pushing the sport button make any difference ?
I would take Maniacs advice and pop to the local garage

I sometimes notice this on my 2009 E89, mainly in the response of the accelerator. Usually disappears after a day but reappears without warning.
