Nah, it's cool. You're right, not to everybody's taste, but I think that people would rather you post here so we can all take a peek rather than you keep your distance because of what people are going to think. As the other guys have pointed out, you're definitely not the youngest at 27 (there are some dudes <20 yrs old too) and you'll find that there are loads of people on here who are in the same boat, i.e. have done rather well for themselves in getting a nice shiny E85 at quite a young age.

Even if you didn't have the wheels, it wouldn't be long before someone said "stubby!", which is also kind of ridiculous when you think about it. :D

No your not the youngest, there are many young and avid poster on here from 2.0s to ///Ms from 17 and upward

Im self made too, got my ///M coupe when I was 23 do I get a trophy or some chrome 22s? :poke: :headbang:

I like coffee.

Makes long nights in the library bearable.

To each there own.
But I prefer my sports cars to handle like a sports car. I'll leave the big wheels for what they were intended. A truck.

Good one Derby Z4. As of late. I started wondering if our forum had changed to a home improvement site.

It looks like you're getting ready to go drag racing. :D

I actually quite like it but I agree with Bing, the back end does look a bit jacked.

Maybe 18s and 20s then drop the whole thing on new springs and go low....

it looks like a dragster

it really changes the looks to a completely different car. I bet with nitrous boost and a massive turbo it would look very well on the strip

i wonder how it handles - much bigger rubber footprint on the road, much higher center of gravity, great in a straight line though

and there's me worrying if 19's and a lowered suspension would rub ...

dragsters have drag radials though...

I guess its the same with all of us who like their cars low. Some prefer them to be raised...personally can't understand why at least lowering a car has a greater potential to improve the car's performance/handling.

im 27 and im selfmade...

Please, would you care to explain, to non-native english speaker, what do you mean by that?

anyways, if the rear end would sit on oem heigt it would look OK, but the jacked rear end reminds me of those over-tuned cars, much slower than oem..
But it;s your car and you like it, so everything is OK
Just of curiosity, do you remember geometry settings it has with those wheels?

They would look good on my van.

'self made' = has created own wealth ~ not inherited it ~ not a gift from daddy ~ not lottery.

Each to his own... The back seems very high... Performance would prob be massively affected... I find my 19's hard to live with... Cant imagine what 22 will be like!

But as long as you like it, who cares what we think.
