Hi, I just bought a set of second hand BMW wheels with types, 17x7.5 offset 37, with 225/50/R17 94W
Do I need change the set of types? Because what’s on my Z4 now is 17x8 offset 47 with 225/45/R17 91W.

Nope no reason to change the tyre sizes unless you really want too . The slightly larger profile tyres should give increased comfort , wheel protection & reduces arch gap
The speedo will most likely read closer to actual speed so worth checking with a satnav
