225/40/18 all round?

Hi,

currently looking to get some replacement alloys. there is one set of Mv2's going on ebay right now but they seem to have 225/40/18s all round. I currently have a corroded set of 108s at present and I know they have a different size of rear tyre to front. Would there be a problem putting these MV2's on the car or would I need some sort of spacers or something?

MV2 come in a few different offsets as they are standard to many different BMWs - Odds are that they aren't staggered Z4 alloys that you are looking at - maybe from an e60.

Not sure if they will fit, just hoping to be helpful :)
 
If the offset of the wheels is in the region of 35 to 40 they will fit ok and no need for spacers.
The tyres are also ok as the rolling radius is close to the 108s.

I actually want to refurb my 108s myself, but I know it will take time so want to get a set of wheels in the interim.

BTW I forgot to say thank you for the info RE the wheels. Turns out the ones I was going to go for would not have fitted - Offset was 20.
