I have these currently on my 330d which has been for sale a month now with no viewings & only a few contacts .

I love the look as it stands but obviously others don't ?
2 possible reason's are 1) black alloys & black roof wrap & 2) grey cloth trim ( not issue for me but i appreciate many want leather)
The car is priced at or below similar others & is genuinely without fault :| soooooooooooooooo i can't do anything about the trim but i,m thinking maybe pick up a set of decent 17inch BMW wheels & remove the wrap thus returning the car to standard SE fayre ?
So before i make a move i wanted to gauge thoughts / interest for the wheels from here .
alloys were powdercoated 3months ago ,have 4 quality tyres 5/6mm tread & new centres

Could possibly do a PX + cash if the wheels suited the tourer ?

Not sure if forum rules dictate i should have posted in the "for sale" ?
Would want £650 for the wheels/tyres/centres though It is only a possible idea ? It could allow me to drop £300/£400 off the 330d ask price ?

Px was only an idea ? I would expect to pick up a decent set of 17inch factory wheels/tyres for £150/£200
 
I think its a good idea to return to SE spec Andy..

I think you will get your money if you sell off the 224's and go again with the sale.


You have really narrowed the market for your car with the mods you have done (dont we all when we mod them),i think the potential audience would like to see a standard motor..IMHO of course.
 
I agree Gary , Fortunately its a simple job to revert back to standard & think that's the way forward :wink:
 
Yep.......Nothing hard to get back to normal....

I would slap some second hand CSL's on it though with money raised off the 224's...... It will fly out!....lol....

After you've chased almost every set of wheels that come onto the forum & not committing i got a sense that you would not have been happy hence why i i wanted you to view the 108's before handing over your hard earned .
 
Got some 17" 207m with nearly new Goodyear runflats on them?

Cheers for the offer . Really need to source some for less money than your asking so as to reduce the ask on 330 :wink:

15 mins with hairdryer & the tourer is now wrapless & silver once more :)
Mind's made up & have a set of factory 17's with good tyres lined up & should be on the car tuesday evening :driving:

Happy at £40 a corner so 224's heading for the "for sale " section :thumbsup:
 
You'd widen your market returning to oem... and now i am very tempted by these wheels!

Is having 4 sets of wheels at the same time too much?!
