224M Tyres Sizes

Hi Guys,

I have decided I want some 224M wheels for my 54 3.0i Zed....

Question 1: What size tyre should I get fitted? Should I keep to the Z4M standard 225/45r18 & 255/40r18, or do I match the 225/40 R18 front and 255/35 R18 on the rears that are on my zed ?

Question 2: Will they direct fit? no rubbing or mods? (I'm on OEM suspension and have no plans to change)

The taller M tyres will affect the speedo reading slightly...not sure by how much but you might be going slightly faster than indicated. I changed to 224M wheels but stuck with the 255/35 and 225/40 tyres to be correct. It all depends if you've already got the taller size on the wheels and you dont want to waste them. I believe those who have the taller size dont experience any rubbing issues

Cool thanks Leesfarm07! I'm hoping to find a set with no tyres, so I can keep the same profile tyres as suggested... :thumbsup:
