224 rims on si - what tyre sizes?

Hi all

I’ve currently got my 224 wheels on standard ///M tyre sizes, as they came

They’re due for replacement soon so I was wondering what’s the best size to make these fit well onto an Si? They already fit but I’m wondering if there is a better fit in terms of look?

225/40/18 and 255/35/18

Bear in mind the rear 224s are 9j not 8.5j

245 fits fine on a 9j, I run them on CH-R's

They look better with M sizes imo, less arch gap.
Some people prefer the lower profile look so would prefer SI size tyres.
Ride will be nicer with M tyres, but tyre cost goes up too

I put non-M sizes on my 224s when I had an Si, but only because it was lowered and had spacers so I didn’t want (even more) rubbing. You should be fine with M sizes but they are a bit pricier as noted above.
