224 Refurb

Hhhm , it,s a tricky one to get right & very much depends on wheel style i would say , Simma,s 224,s do look mighty fine but the above Porsche & Audi for me are a little underwhelming :?
 
I'm half tempted to stick with black until the tyres are dead.

What does your new place charge for a full refurb?

I left 1st set with new place last week , A set of Breyton 19inch deep dish & collect on Tuesday , looking forward to the results as the set up seemed pretty good .
Gone for a "smoked platinum" as the guy described but let,s see the outcome :wink:
Not powdercoated , wet paint ,lacquer & heat finish

I agree though. It's not that the finishes are vaslty different, it's more the shape of the wheel and how it catches the light. The shape of the 224 I think is really complimented by this colour.
 
Wheel specialist quoted me £350 for a full refurb.

That includes taking the tyres off, full refurb then tyres back on and balancing.
