224 original z4m alloys with winter tyres

Having sold my Z4MC in January I am now looking to sell the Winter tyres/wheels that I still have left.

The wheels are genuine BMW 224s bought a few years ago on this forum, they are not perfect with some flaking/road rash but as shown in the photos are really not too bad for a few months over winter.

The tyres are ContinentalWinterContacts:-

Front: 225/45 R18 95V - TS790V - almost new with less than 2000 miles on them - 7- 8mm tread
Rear: 255/40 R18 99V - TS810S - have seen more use, one with 5-6mm and the other only 3-4mm.

Reason for difference front to back is I purchased car in winter 2011 from Birds, and at time it had on the two winter rear tyres. One of those rears has had a repair (plug). I purchased the two front ones myself the following winter.

Looking for £400 - £500 mark, but not really certain of value, just know the two fronts cost me almost £500 on there own and have have hardly seen any use as I sold car before I could put them on last winter.

Just in passing, these tyres really DO make a difference in the snow/frost. In the snow a few winters ago I was able to drive over the Whipsnade hills without concern on way to work in Luton, front wheel drive cars were all over the place !

Based in Tring, Herts, would much prefer collection if anyone interested.

Feel free to call me on 07518 153477 if interested/any questions.

Cheers Swiftly!
Looking forward yo getting them on as I have had quite a few twitchy moments with the summers on!

Cheers guys!
The black accents are plastidip, has worked surprisingly well! Been on for around 6 months and still looking good!
Would recommend! Although I wouldn't mind getting a gloss black wrap on the lower edge of the bumper :)

Gloss black would look great. I thought about doing mine and also gloss black on the lower grill to match the gloss black kidney grills. Saw a photo of another members lower grills in gloss black recently and they looked fantastic, although slightly concerned as I am not sure how it would stand up to stone chips in the long term though.

Yours being silver would really suit it!
I think it would hold up for a while, like I say I have had mine on for around 6 months as a daily done around 12k miles and still looks alright!
Not as good as when I first done it but not terrible either.

My zed is my daily also, hence my initial concern as to how the grill would look after a few months

This is the photo of sav's zed with the gloss black lower grill which caught my eye :D
