224 alloys good tyres may need refurb £140

Spotted these 224's in black on Facebook for sale in Manchester.

Tyres have 6mm tread but its hard to tell if the wheels are desperate for a refurb. They may clean up well but for only £140 there's definitely room for getting the wheels powdered coated and them still being a cheap set of wheels.

Diameter of the tyre at the front is 22.5mm bigger, so your car would ride 11mm higher and have 11mm less wheel arch clearance. The offset is slightly more aggressive (5mm more poke), but should be OK.

Diameter of the tyre is 25.5mm bigger at the rear, so your car would ride 13mm higher and have 13mm less wheel arch clearance. The offset is much more aggressive (20mm more poke). If there is a problem, this is where it will be.

Managed to get em, pick them up on Wednesday! Well chuffed, I've always wanted a set of 224s but never wanted to pay the premium.

I've heard from a forum member these have been relisted. Pretty sure it is a scam. I sent a £50.00 deposit and agreed collection yesterday. When I asked for the house number I got the below and he disappeared from the chat. My bank have been able to get my money back thankfully.
