Anyone tried a set of these -

Hubcentric 20mm Wheel Spacer Kit BMW Z3 E36/7 Z4 Z85 Z89 M85 Z8 E52 Z4M

Seem like bloody good value at £45 - just wondered if anyone has tried a set?

I bought 15mm and 20mm spacers just the other day, turned up next day.

The only problem is they supply 45mm bolts with the 15mm spacers, and 50mm bolts with the 20's. So the bolts are too long... I would email them asking about different length bolts first.

I rang them up when I noticed the problem, and they're sending me out some correct size bolts free of charge.

You can get eibach spacers from fk automotive for about £50 delivered, so would pay more and get better ones imo.

Can you let me know how you get on with them? Do they look / feel good quality?

Checked eibachs at FK automotive and they're £92 for a set.

Yeah,

I have the rears on ATM, and they are fine.

Look and feel good enough...

Received my shorter bolts today so I'll get the front spacers fitted over the weekend.

What did you go with on the fronts? 15mm?

I have the 15mm version on the rears with 108s. Just right imo. You could get away with 20mm but personally I think it would be just a little too much.

Once you start protruding rubber from the arch towards the top of the wheel you really need to get blue LEDs under your sills and a giant chrome fuel cap to complete the look.

Understated elegance vs the roller skate look. The choice is yours.

I have 17"s... Not sure what the name of them is..

I'll get some pics up once I've fitted the fronts and gave it a good clean.

The tyres don't poke out the arch at all, I didn't know that 5mm in wheel offset was the difference in wheel offset from classy to a "roller skate", I'll have to remember that one...

I have 20s on the rear of mine.... Where can I get these blue LEDs you talk of, and a chrome fuel cap ? :P

20s don't stick out, they look just fine. 25s are too big

Looking at these myself, Whats the correct bolt size for front and rear then?

IF your cars lowered id highly recommend 25mm spacers (it's what i'm using) the stance of my car is perfect and doesn't rub.

Hardly a "roller skate"

is that 25mm Front & back ?

Ok..... So I want to put spacers on my Z4MR what size is best. It has not been lowered and has standard M wheels! I don't want rubbing, and in bringing the wheels out do you get more stone chipping? I want the same size on the front and rear is that best?

Mine arrived midweek, fitted them today along with an Aero spoiler and H&R -35mm springs.
Pics on my FB page if anyone is interested http://www.facebook.com/Frenzy.Performance.Tuning

Is that just 20mm on the back? What about front? Have you had any rubbing? I won't be lowering mine so shouldn't rub!

Front is 15mm, no rubbing at all no
Overall very pleased with the new lower/wider look, it also feels much more planted on the road too, still considering some adjustable shocks to go with the springs as there is a bit much body roll for my liking.
