203 style alloys

Looking for a set of 203 alloys. I know, don’t all shout at once, proverbial rocking horse droppings, but just thought it might be worth a shot. Someone out there might just have a set and needs a little push to part with them! Did discuss this on an earlier post and got a few home truths but it’s that itch I can’t leave alone.
I’m in the Bristol area but obviously for these I would travel.
Sometimes it’s just best to ask and then live in hope!!
 
Yeah the 203 are a nice design for sure.
Seems to be very popular in the US rather than here, though.

Worth considering 189s? Designed for the E9* but are pretty similar and basically sit very similar to how Z4 wheels sit with 10/15mm or so spacers. And there's a bloke on facebook trying to get rid of a set of 230s which are similarly for the E9* series cars but 19" and look great on his E86 IMHO (if they will fit yours).
 
Thanks for the info FS but sadly I’m a bit of a purist and would rather avoid spacers etc. Would hope to find alloys with the same ETs, hence the 203s. As for 19s, I’m riding on MV2s at the moment which are 18s and that’s as firm a ride as I need at my age!! Trying to keep it simple albeit next to impossible to find. Just thought it was worth a try.

The two I suggested don't require spacers, rather they stick out as if they were E85 wheels with spacers. But if you want OEM, and 203s in particular, then be fussy, hold out! Good luck
 
203s are nice. I had them on my coupe. Rarely available for sale. 189s are similar but not in the same league, IMO.IMG_1381.jpeg
 
I have 203s on my Zed at the moment, unfortunately painted black by a previous owner. I was planning to refurb them in the near future back to OEM silver finish, but would also consider selling.

I have no idea what price to ask, as I can't find a sold listing anywhere!

Certainly food for thought WattsF. I guess though that as it’s early days, and I have no idea of refurbishing costs involved, I may just sit tight for a while and see what comes up. Thanks again.

No problem! I'm in no rush either, so drop me a message when you're ready.

For what it's worth, I got a quote for a full refurb from a reputable local shop and they want £462 to strip, repair, and powder coat the wheels. Would be interested to hear how much other forum users have paid for similar.
